the Radio Show

Hi. My name is Pat, and in addition to this website I also host a radio show that also goes by the name of Sound Salvation Army on Regina, Saskatchewan’s community radio station, CJTR.
The show was inherited by me from someone who inherited it from someone else who inherited it from someone else and so on back through the ages. Through its years it was a chart show, based off the top 50 most-added and most-played albums at campus and community radio stations around Canada. While it still contains a great deal of that element, it has opened up a bit more now that I’ve moved into a morning show format and have three full hours to fill. Most of the show consists of independent rock and pop with the occasional foray into hip-hop, noise, electronic, and ambient sounds. There’s also some occasional forays into the past with classic folk, soul, and pop recordings. Obviously, you’ll see a good amount of that stuff translate over to this site (if it’s good, of course). Anyways, if you like my submissions here, check out the show and hopefully if you’ve heard the show that’s what brought you here.
Either way, I’m glad you’re here and if you’re up early some Thursday morning from 6:00 to 9:00 pm CST the show streams right here at that time. Enjoy, please.
