What This Is
What you’re looking at is a bit of a collective, an effort by fans of music to try and spread the word about music we’re passionate about to other music fans. While this may be just one of many fish in the mp3 blog sea, we’re hoping we can hook you one way or the other — be it the content we post or the way we discuss it. One way or the other, keep watching this space or you’ll be missing out on something special.
To visitors: we would remind you that if you check something out here and you’re into it then BUY THE MUSIC. We really can’t stress that enough. As true believers in the beauty and perfection of holding a piece of recorded music in your actual hands, we aren’t here to encourage piracy. We LOVE having a physical release of something and you should too. If you like what you’re hearing, support the people that make it. It’s only fair.
Greetings also to bands/representatives of bands that have been featured on this blog. Like most mp3 blogs out there, we mean you no harm; in fact, we like to think that we’re helping you out here. The intent of the Sound Salvation Army is to put forth those nuggets of musical greatness that we’ve managed to come across while panning in the deep river bed of musical mediocrity. If you feel that you/the artist you represent is being negatively impacted by having a few people check out a song or two of theirs, we are more than willing to remove their material from this site. Please let us know if you’d like something removed, and if that’s the case we’re sorry we offended you but goddamnit we love your music and are honoured to find ourselves in the position that you have an idea of who the hell we are.
